My name is Rai, I am an agronomist and my research is focused on the use of data to guide informed decisions in agriculture. I truly believe in the power of data and data-driven decisions to help humanity to cope with food security issues by boosting crop production and improving resource use efficiency, pursuing more sustainable agricultural systems. Most of my work is on exploring options to merge remote sensing data, crop modeling and machine learning techniques for pushing the limits of predictability in agricultural systems.
